LIFE IS ITS FUNCTIONAL ESSENCE STILL IN A QUANTUM STATE?
This is not a monograph implicating exactly how viable life got started on planet Earth. It is a conjecture of the evolutionary circumstances that were present during which life may have been initiated and its path of progression. Our Universe started in a Quantum State that may still be affecting viable life at this space-time.
Our Universe manifested some 13.7 billion years ago, containing explosively expanding subatomic waves and particles, most likely in a Quantum State of Uncertainty. All early evolving physical and chemical reactions were taking place at the subatomic levels of uncertainty. The evolution of the visible 5% of manifested matter and the forces of matter took place in a Quantum Field of Uncertainty. The 95% of the non-manifested portion of the universe, 72% Dark Energy, and 23% Dark Matter, may also be residing in an uncertain Quantum State.
All that is recognized as viable “Life” on planet Earth may have been greatly helped by already evolved extraterrestrial molecules that bombarded the infant earth in the varies forms of meteorites containing large varieties of complex amino acid type molecules. (1)(2) Wherever in outer space these molecules came from they had to be originally initiated within the “Essence of the Quantum State”. They fell into the water-world of our early Earth. The Earth has been determined to be 4.5 billion years old. Water-oceans have been shown to have been in existence 4.4 billion years ago, only 100 million years after our planet formed. (3) Since 1968 experiments by NASA, showed that several types of bacteria had a greatly accelerated increases in their numbers in zero gravity. There is continuing research experiments by NASA to view this phenomenon, perhaps to increase antibiotic production in outer space. (4 ) However, another question could be asked; could it be possible that our original bacterial life formed “elsewhere” in the universe and came to Earth via meteorites?
Cellularly preserved filamentous fossil microorganisms dated at 3.5 billion years ago were discovered in northwestern Western Australia.(5) Further, 3.4 billion year old rocks showing microorganism fossils have also been discovered in the Barberton region of South Africa, similar to the finds in Western Australia. Morphological, geochemical, and isotopic data imply that life was relatively widespread during that period, i.e. the early Archean Period. (6) Recent reclassification has deemed these fossilized cells as the most primitive prokaryote phylum, Chlorobacteria. (7) They evolved in an atmosphere that was devoid of oxygen; nonetheless, they contributed to the enhancement of all further evolving life because of their ability to perform “PHOTOSYNTHESIS”. The capability of these primitive organisms to convert carbon dioxide and water as their food source into enhancing their own organic structures and to further produce their waste product, oxygen. Over millions upon millions of years the oceans became saturated with oxygen and eventually the excess drifted out of the oceans to become atmospheric oxygen. The primitive Earth’s anoxic atmosphere contained methane, carbon dioxide, carbon mon- oxide, and some nitrogen. It was and eventually converted to our present oxygen, nitrogen atmosphere by those original evolving photosynthesis bacterial types. There is some research evidence that the atmospheric conversion took approximately 2 billion years. Oxygen in the oceans and the atmosphere enhanced evolving species and led to the multitudes of diverse types of organ- isms on Earth at the present time. (8) Photosynthesis will be addressed more fully later in this paper.
The evolution of the earliest replicating chemicals would have had to be initiated in the liquid “water-soup” containing the essences of a vast diverse number of extraterrestrial molecules, atoms and subatomic “entities”. Those al- ready evolved diverse molecules, atoms and subatomic entities containing all of the forces of matter and all of different types of manifested matter “danced” in a chaotic uncertain state of Quantum Mechanics. The origins of life necessitated the formation of “catalytic functionality’s” that eventually led to proliferation of biologically accessible molecules and the formation of a photo-metabolic network. Current understanding of quantum systems indi- cates that “catalyst-substrate interactions may be considered as a quantum mechanical problem. The degree of “entanglement” experienced by catalytic and non catalytic states portends that quantum contributions played an important role in the operation of efficient catalysis that would provide for the kinetic basis for the emergence of life. (9)
ALL INTERACTIONS BETWEEN ANY OF THE TYPES OF MANIFESTED SUBSTANCES WHETHER THEY ARE SINGULAR ELEMENTS OR THE MOST COMPLEX MOLECULES TAKES PLACE AT THEIR ORBITAL REALMS OF “ELECTRONS”.
All of the known 118 elements that comprise the Periodic Table have at their extended peripheries vast arrays of orbital electrons; their precise number depends upon the exact number of protons in their individual nuclei. Uranium atom number 92 is the last of the elements that have been found on our planet. Atomic numbers 93 to 118 have been made in nuclear reactors, and all of these have been named in some cases after scientist; for example atomic number 99, Einsteinium. (10)
The evolution of life on planet Earth became into existence by the combinations of only four of the more simple elements on the Periodic Table. Namely: Element 1, Hydrogen; Element 6, Carbon; Element 7, Nitrogen; Element 8, Oxygen. The combining interactions originally took place at their “Electrons”, and their present day existence are still taking place at their “Electrons”. Further evolution of more complex molecules, more complex organic structure, and additional elements, all utilize “Electrons” as they’re stabilizing active constructs. Electrons are “thought” to behave in accordance to the theoretic principles of Quantum Mechanics; they were involved in the distant past evolutionary processes of helping to initiate life on our primitive planet Earth. (11)
Nonetheless, to date, there has never been a comprehensive explanation of the behavior of ELECTRONS. There seems to be only unanswerable questions. There are some physicists that are proposing innovative paradigm-shifting theories about ELECTRONS. Here are some examples:
Do ELECTRONS display consciousness? Dr. Ronald Bryan believes that ELECTRONS seem to act independently making decisions on their own. For example deciding which slit to go through in the classic double slit experi- ment, possibly going through both slits before making a final decision? In the classic “Entanglement Experiments” how do ELECTRONS inform their entangled partner to change its spin functionality, instantaneously, defying the limits of Einstein’s speed of light? He has further equated ELECTRON’S functions and brain’s consciousness as similar activities. (12)
Dr. L.F. Morgan questions all explanation concerning ELECTRONS. Given the positive sign of protons and negative sign of ELECTRONS, why does the attractiveness of the positive and negative never result in ELECTRONS crashing into protons? His theories relating to the ELECTRON’S behavior include tiny Black Holes, and intervening Dark Matter. He describes the ELECTRONS as the most vital element of existence and awareness of all the life forms. His ode to the ELECTRON; “We ever name and use you but never get to know you.(13)
Is there any evidence that there is a continuing presence of Quantum Mechanics reactions on our Planet? Enter the new scientific research of “Quantum Biology”.
Quantum effects and living organisms have always been deemed to occupy different realms. The world of quantum mechanics is usually observed only on the nanometer scale in vacuums at ultra-low temperatures in highly controlled laboratory environments. Living organisms have always been viewed to inhabit a macroscopic world that is warm and messy and uncontrolled. A quantum phenomenon such as ” coherence”, in which the wave patterns of every part of a system stay in step. It was thought that the “coherence” wave would not last a microsecond in the tumultuous realm of any cell. But, that is not true. Recent discoveries suggest that coherent quantum processes may well be ubiquitous in the natural world. (14)
THE FOLLOWING EXAMPLES OF QUANTUM BIOLOGY ARE NOT MEANT TO GO INTO THE RESEARCH DETAILS. THEY ARE SIMPLY IDENTIFIED AREAS SHOWING THE PHENOMENON
Four years ago a two teams from the University of California showed that chilling two types of photosynthetic bacteria under nitrogen frozen conditions gave evidence of exacting coherence being maintained. (15) the process had shown that photons ( any light source) gave extra energy to electrons that became “highly energized EXCITONS” initiates the coherence. All plants and photosynthetic bacteria have light gathering antenna molecules that lead to a reaction center, wherein the photosynthetic processes take place. The photon energized coherent EXCITONS may be displaying the weird world of elec- trons by moving through the forest of antenna molecules by two or more routes at once. They may be simultaneously explore a multitude of options and automatically select the most efficient path to the reaction center.(16)
In 2010 these same California researchers found evidence of quantum coherence in their original bacteria at room temperatures. (17) At the same time Professor George Scholes’s team, University of Toronto, found the same co- herent effects in cryptophyte algae. These algae are evolutionarily distinct organisms that are more related to plants and animals, and use completely dif- ferent light absorbing chemical groups. (16) Scholes and his group are explor- ing the possibility of expanding the technology of photosynthesis to have this process become an unlimited source of inexpensive power. (18)
Migratory birds are known to use the geomagnetic field as a source of compass information. Further, at least 50 other species including mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, crustaceans, and insects, are known to use the Earth‘s magnetic field for orientation and navigation. With continuing research at Oxford, UK, investigators have come to the following conclusions. It is apparent that these various species have the ability to sense very subtle variations in the Earth’s magnetic field. Further, applying quantum information of the widely accepted ”radical-pair” model to analyze experimental observations, for birds, find that the superposition and entanglement are sustained for that living system for at least tens of microseconds. That timing exceeds the duration achieved in the best man-made molecular system. Their conclusion, the quantum phenomenon endures exceedingly well in the “warm and wet” environ- ment of viable life forms. ( 19) (20) (21)
Do astronauts display quantum effects in space? Apparently, yes they do. Over a period of several decades it has been noticed that most astronauts have observed light flashes including streaks, spots, and clouds of light when their eyes are closed or when they are in a darkened cabin, either orbiting the Earth, or on trips to the moon. This phenomenon is due to comic rays, high energy charged particles originating in outer space. Comic rays are mostly nuclei of atom of hydrogen (89%) Helium (10%) and only 1% heavier ele- ments. Scientist hypothesize that direct interaction of one or two types of these cosmic rays strike the retina causing an excitation producing knock-on particles. This phenomenon have been deemed a quantum mechanical effect by all of the researcher that have written about this process. (22) (23) (24) (25)
The Large Hadron Collider experiments presently on going in Cern, Switzerland are trying to find the ultimate explanation of how the essence of our quantum universe evolved and how it presently exists. The new research described in this text opens the question of whether most all reactions either chemical, biological, physical, etc. ultimately take place in the “QUANTUM WORLD OF UNCERTAINTY”?
The text herein shows evolutionary evidence that at their molecular, elemental , and subatomic levels, an active quantum state still may exist in highly evolved human cells, tissues, and organs. Developing therapeutic agents for pathological conditions for these cells, tissues, and organs pose a daunting task for medical research. Given the multi-billion dollars spent world-wide during the past 50 years, in order to develop therapies for a multitude of chronic pathological conditions, has not to date, made the intended progress. It is apparent that a new research paradigm is in order. That paradigm is obliged to produce exacting agents that human bodies recognize as self, non-toxically restore the normal functions, and be compatible with quantum state of human cells, tissues, and organs.
